At just 6 weeks old, Thorin was diagnosed with multiple congenital heart defects and placed on a feeding tube at 5 months. Then at 10 months old, he was diagnosed with a rare chromosome disorder, effecting only 80 people worldwide. As a result, he is missing his corpus callosum, causing developmental delays. Thorin spends much of his time in hospitals, doctors offices, and therapy and was given a "Mooky" to bring comfort to him in these times. When Thorin first received his "Mooky," he snuggled right up and fell asleep. He now sleeps with his "Mooky" every night!! (Hannah, Thorin's Mom)
