Lillian is a beautiful inquisitive little girl who was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia when she was a month old. Biliary atresia is a rare disease of the liver that occurs in infants - it causes damage and scarring of the liver cells (cirrhosis), and eventually liver failure. Lillian had surgery to reconstruct her bile duct and obtain bile flow however doctors determined the surgery failed and on July 21st 2018 Lillian received a liver transplant. Right before transplant she received Mooky on behalf of a friend and her son. After transplant Mooky stayed in bed with Lillian until she was able to transfer to the Ronald McDonald House. Lillian enjoys playing with her Mooky and is always excited to see him!
